Lots of updates since I was last here.

The new project is well and truly on its way I have made the decision to go with a Lone Peak Fuzion with a CRB barrel chambered in 6br and will be accompanied by an AKA Delta chassis and Vortex Razor gen 3 (Trigger and Muzzle break) yet to be decided.

Today (21/06/26) Ellen and I have decided to do something a little different. We both using my rifle shot numerous competitions. First up was the F-Class where I had shot a 94.6 out of 100 and Ellen shot a 87.6 which for her first time was not bad! Me finishing in 6th and Ellen in 9th.

Second part was the stags where there were 5 shotgun clays at 325 yards where you had 10 shots to break as many as possible. Both Ellen and I got 2 (at the time we didn't realise that was the average score) then there was a KYL at  325 yards and out of 10 points both Ellen and I got 7 and then lastly at a MASSIVE 640 yards with the .22 I got a big 0 while ellen made 2 impacts at the gong. Let me explain how impressive this is. We needed in around the 48 mils of elevation to make impacts. The scope had 21 mils of internal elevation available and 10 mils of adjustment in the scope followed by a little notch for 20 mils so as you can imagine there was a lot of elevation held. 

First place for this was a score of 12,Ellen had a score of 11 tying her for second but losing out by a call back and ending up in 3rd and I finished in 5th with 9 points.

And the last competition of the day was 300 yards where you had to make a 5 shot group looking to make the smallest group possible. I came in second place with a group 111mm wide and Ellen took the win with 94mm 

Absolutely unbelievable shooting all day out her. I'd like to think she had a great coach but I can't take all the credit either (haha) but what a difference a great chassis, scope & rifle can give a good shooter the confidence to place really well in competitions and beating some of the lads at their own game.

Going to have to get her own now.
